Friday Nights
Every Friday evening at 7:30 pm (except the first Friday of the month), we have a Shabbat service. Dress is business casual - please no jeans or shorts.
The first Friday of every month, at 7:00 pm, is our family Shabbat service, with the service and musicgeared towards children. Instead of a traditional sermon, one of the rabbis usually tells an interactive story with costumes, props, or pictures.
Join us on the third Friday of very month for Tot Shabbat, a service curated for newborns to second grades. This service, held in the Social Hall at 6:00 pm, includes lots of music, child-friendly prayers, activities, and a pizza dinner. The service lasts about a half hour and precedes our regular Shabbat service. Please see the temple calendar to confirm dates.
Saturday Mornings
Main Sanctuary B’nai Mitzvah Service:
When one of our students becomes Bar or Bat Mitzvah, a service is held in the main sanctuary at 10:00 a.m., with the rabbi and our B'nai Mitzvah leading the congregation and guests in worship. We ask that attendees dress in jackets, ties, nice pants, dresses, or skirts. B’nai Mitzvah services are beautiful events for the family and congregation.
Minyan Makers is a morning service open to all post-B’nai Mitzvah and adult members. Services are held in the round and include lots of wonderful music and an intimate Torah discussion. Breakfast is served at 9:00 am and the service begins at 9:30am. Casual dress is appropriate.
Held monthly at 11:15 am, the lay-led Women’s Torah Study discusses the weekly Torah portion and searches for connections between our ancient text and our lives today. Please see the temple calendar for dates. It is inclusive to women and femme-identified people, as well as other gender expressions.
