Religious School
Overview
Our Religious School is an engaging and inclusive community that partners with families to help our students form a strong Jewish identity. Guided by Jewish values and traditions, we strive to create an insightful, fun, and loving environment that accommodates each learner's unique talents, learning styles, and perspectives. In addition to classroom teachers, we also have a Learning Specialist who works with teachers to meet the needs of each child. Additionally, new televisions in each classroom facilitate digital learning and create interactive board space for hands-on activities.
Family Engagement
We believe we are partners with families in helping form a child’s Jewish identity. Each year includes opportunities for children and parents to learn together. Learning at TBS is meant to enrich and enhance what occurs at home. Bringing families’ unique stories and experiences also enriches the learning for our entire community. Students and their special adults come together for learning on Sunday mornings. Each grade also attends a Shabbat dinner with their family during the year, when their class will help lead Shabbat services.
