Youth Group

Participation in Temple B’nai Shalom’s youth group helps foster a strong Jewish identity among our youth. Our youth group kids have lots of fun while making lasting friendships within our temple community, as well as throughout the world, as they participate in temple, regional, and national events and activities. Youth programs at TBS blend social, religious, cultural, and social action events led by our parent volunteers. All TBS’s fifth through twelfth graders are encouraged to join in youth group events.

BeaSTY (B’nai Shalom Temple Youth) is for children in 7th through 12th grades. BeaSTY is affiliated with NFTY, the North American Federation of Temple Youth and NFTY-MAR, NFTY’s Mid-Atlantic Region.  Events are held monthly and planned by our youth group board.
